I started Ballroom and Latin Dancing at the Age of 18. i fell in love with strictly come dancing and decided I wanted to try it myself. I danced from the age of 4 in other styles of dance such as tap, ballet and modern.
I went to my first ever social class in ballroom and I loved it so much so after 6 months i was in the advnced class.
i then decided to develop furth into competitive dance and started to train for competitions quickly working my way through the ranks from beginner to intermediate.
I then made the move to England and pushed my self further after finding a new partner we started to travel all over we trained in Italy every month as well as going to competitions all over the world. We represented England on the highest Amateur level and had the opportunity to dance at the world championships in China in 2017.

Laura Allen
Teacher
Laura has been dancing since she was 3 years old joining a local dance school in the south of England. After competing in many IDTA Nationwide Medallist of the year competitions in Blackpool, she is no stranger to the Winter Gardens. At the age of 14 she began to help out with group classes and the began to take private lessons. She continued to do this for several years until she took a break to pursue her Primary Teaching degree at university. Now as a fully qualified teacher she has rejoined the world of dance. She enjoys teaching all ages and loves to choreograph routines. You will find her fun approach will really make you want to get up on that dance floor and give it everything.

Teacher
Dance has always been a massive role in my life, I have been dancing since the age of 4. I started off doing a wide range of dancing for many years including jazz, tap, ballet and commercial. At the age of 15-20, I joined a dance school solely focusing on ballet, where I done my graded certificates through The Royal School of Ballet. Not long after, I had the opportunity to take part in classes taught by Giovanni Pernice and Kai Woods from Strictly Come Dancing. This was an amazing experience and allowed me to broaden my knowledge and skills of Ballroom and Latin dance. This is when I found my passion and love for Ballroom and Latin dancing. This passion meant that I had to find a Ballroom and Latin school in Scotland, and this is when I came across Dance2Inspire, who I have been with for many years now and trained with in order to accomplish multiple Ballroom and Latin competitions. Being asked to be apart of the teaching team at Dance2Inspire was an honour and privilege. I cannot wait for my role in dance teaching within the school to Flourish and for Dance2Inspire to thrive further.
Richard Scott
Teacher
Dancing is my passion and has also become a big part of my life. I have been involved in Ballroom and Latin American dance for almost 15 years including teaching and demonstrating for an established IDTA qualified dance school for almost 10 years.
I ran my own social dance class for beginners for a few years and more recently I have been part of the teaching team at Dance2Inspire where I have been teaching the beginners & improvers classes for a couple of years now.
I have also completed two years of full time professional training in Classical and Modern dance at Dance Studios Scotland where I trained in Theatre Dance styles such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap & Hip Hop/Commercial.
I have performed in a large scale production of Pagliacci with Scottish Opera in front of an interactive live audience.
I love teaching and helping others and one of my aims is to encourage people to have the confidence to dance and enjoy it as much as I do. The most important thing for me when teaching is that people enjoy it as I believe dancing is for everyone regardless of age or ability
